In this Victorian property, previous renovation work had been completed to a poor standard, particularly the plastering. Significant additional preparation and remedial work were required to achieve the smooth finish expected from a premium decorating project.
Uneven Floors Require Extra Attention
The existing floor levels were not perfectly even, which created challenges when fitting new skirting boards and flooring details. Additional time was invested to ensure the skirting boards followed a consistent visual line throughout the room, creating a professional finish where all gaps and transitions appeared perfectly parallel despite the uneven subfloor beneath.
